Mary obtained a teaching degree from Digby Stuart College, London University, where she majored in History. She grew up in London and spent several years teaching at Winston Churchill Secondary School in the beautiful English County of Kent, England. Her interest in real estate began soon after she moved to California. She jumped right in at the deep end at a time of high-interest rates and learned to put deals together for her clients during adverse conditions. Her real estate journey has given her a wealth of knowledge and experience to bring to her clients.
She served as President, Executive Secretary, New Member Chair, and Communications Chair, for Burlingame Rotary Club. She currently serves on the Board of Directors for Palcare, a non-profit 501(c)(3) childcare center in Burlingame. She has recently been asked to be Vice Chair of the membership committee for the San Mateo Association of Realtors. She has the SRES designation (Senior Real Estate Specialist) and is a member of SAMCAR (San Mateo Association of Realtors and the SILVAR (Silicon Valley Association of Realtors.
Mary has two sons. Ben is a Senior video game designer and lives in Austin, Texas. Robert, who lives in Honolulu Hawaii, has been called the 'Crypto Sensei' and educates people interested in cryptocurrency. She lives in Atherton and with her partner Howard, enjoys travel, dining, good wines, music, reading, history, British detective books and TV series, and their two Bernedoddles - Winston and Lola.
