Having graduated from the University of Colorado with a degree in architecture, Gray's passion for design and construction led him to start his own design and build company. He successfully built homes in Colorado and Hawaii, giving him a deep understanding of materials, codes, and the entire construction process. He also served on Maui County's design review board for 5 years.

Gray's journey in real estate began when he obtained his real estate license to sell his custom homes. Recognizing his knack for the industry, he decided to become a full-time real estate broker upon retiring from building. His unique knowledge of design, renovations, and what it takes to develop a property from scratch makes him an invaluable asset to his clients.

Beyond his expertise in real estate, he is a true waterman and avid in surfing, kitesurfing, and wing foiling.
