"I would recommend Jill Teakell to anyone selling or buying a home. After meeting and talking with Jill I knew it was a good match. She answered every question I asked. Which were numerous. Jill is the best! Jill was so supportive and kept me informed of every step. My experience with Jill Teakell was better than I ever expected! Jill sold my home is less than a week!" - Eli

★★★★★
"Jill has helped us with several purchases. Every one of the transactions has been the best experience! Her knowledge and attention to detail makes everything run smoothly and sets your mind at ease when there is unexpected turmoil." - Deborah

★★★★★
"Jill Teakell is especially skilled at her interpersonal relationships with tenants. She has charmed two sets of tenants in two separate rentals that she sold for us. Selling a property with a full-time tenant requires a special skill set and Jill excels in this area. This was our fourth transaction with Jill Teakell. We wouldn't have considered anyone else. She knows the area, the market, and our needs." - Shannan and John

★★★★★
"Jill Teakell should be realtor® of the year! I live in the bay area, and my 26-year-old son lives in South Lake Tahoe where he found Jill. As a first-time home buyer she could have laughed him out of the office but instead educated him all the way and spent countless hours doing so. I was looking to sell a property in Seattle which I owned for 30 years and asked Jill how to avoid capt. gains at this time and she helped me get started with a 1031 exchange. That led to a $60k savings and at the right time my son will acquire the title. Jill was more than a realtor® - she was a facilitator in making a bright future for my son." - Marie

About Jill
As the middle child, Jill was destined to be a bridge-builder. Her innate talent lies in fostering harmony and understanding among others, making her a natural negotiator with an intuitive grasp of people's desires. Her mission? To orchestrate transactions with finesse, ensuring they unfold seamlessly and amicably.

Jill's journey to Tahoe homeownership was an adventure in itself, set against the backdrop of Caribbean living. This experience underscored the paramount importance of having a Realtor® deeply attuned to local nuances. Transitioning to life in Tahoe, Jill and Doug embraced real estate as their calling, prioritizing a deep dive into the intricacies of Tahoe's building regulations and community dynamics..

Keeping her finger on the pulse of the real estate realm, Jill actively contributes to the local board of Realtors®. Having held the prestigious mantle of President at the South Tahoe Association of Realtors® for two consecutive terms, and serving as a Director for the California association for half a decade, she now leads the charge as Chair of the Realtors' Local Government Relations committee. Beyond the boardroom, Jill passionately champions workforce housing initiatives, firmly believing that those who contribute to Tahoe's vibrancy should have the opportunity to call it home..

Jill's academic trajectory, spanning from Brown University to roles in genetic research and computer engineering in California, might seem disparate. However, each step was driven by an insatiable curiosity and a thirst for diverse experiences. Transitioning to life as a yacht chef in the Caribbean was a testament to her love for sailing and culinary arts, ultimately leading her to plant roots in the breathtaking enclave of South Lake Tahoe. Why Lake Tahoe? For Jill and Doug, it's a sanctuary of natural splendor and boundless outdoor adventures, inhabited by kindred spirits who share a profound appreciation for life's simple joys.
