Alexandra Florio

Alexandra Florio was born on the Upper West Side and attended PS6 and Hunter College H.S. on the Upper East Side. She received dual BAs in Political Science and Anthropology from Wellesley College and is a 25-year resident of Brooklyn, providing unique opportunities on both sides of the bridge. She has a deep love for the city of New York “It has history, charm, and optimism—an enviable combination for any city”. Using street smarts, up-to-the-minute information, and critical analysis, Alexandra Florio has consistently offered impressive and measurable results to both her buyers and sellers over the years.

Before entering real estate Alexandra ran a company that offered wellness services to private clients in their homes, and then later, started a business providing digital marketing to very small businesses. One of her fitness company's first discerning customers was the Editor in Chief of Fitness Magazine. Alexandra's popularity among insiders was not surprising to anyone who knows her personally - her high standards, capable management style, and profound respect for customers created a superior experience.

Alexandra is the proud mother of two spirited young adults. Her son, 24, attended Bard H.S., Hack Reactor coding bootcamp in Austin TX, is a ranked chess player and now works as a part time developer, and her daughter, 22, attended Brooklyn Tech and is now a senior at Cedar Crest College - a small women's college in Pennsylvania, she works as a statistics tutor, is an autistic aide, and is completing a Psychology degree there as she completes her real estate license with plans to join a team with Compass this summer. .

Alexandra is conversant in French, German and Italian and enjoys Muy Thai, meditating, writing and hip hop. She volunteers with Food Bank of NY and is a member of the DSA Housing Committee. She is motivated to help her clients find the exact combination of benefits they want in any transaction and ensures they will have the best possible support and information to make that a reality.
