About Alexandra
Alex Gardella is the newest member of the DTNYC Team at Compass. Her experience working as a real estate publicist - paired with her family's strong background in real estate - serves as the backdrop for her uncanny knowledge and unique understanding of the real estate landscape in NYC. Leveraging her experience both personally and professionally, Alex is thrilled to be working in the neighborhood in which she lives and loves - the Upper West Side.
Raised in western Pennsylvania where her family owns a construction and real estate development firm, Alex's father also owns a real estate marketing and sales company in Miami, leading sales and marketing efforts for developers worldwide. In addition to working as a real estate publicist at Rubenstein Public Relations, Alex transitioned to human resources, where she led all recruitment efforts, employee development and training programs and served as a member of the rebranding team.
Alex received her Bachelor of Arts degree in broadcast journalism from Pennsylvania State University. She is an active alumnus involved in fundraising efforts for THON, the largest student-run philanthropic program worldwide, which raises funds for children's cancer research. She also serves as a member of the Joseph A. Massaro Jr. Alzheimer's Research Foundation, which aims to bring awareness and raise funding for the Department of Neurology at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center.
Alex is married with three-year-old twins, Gus and Murphy.
