About Amy
Amy’s love for real estate grew as a young first time homebuyer. Her first home purchase was just short of her 19th birthday. With little funds but an eye for design, she took a leap of faith on a fixer upper. A short 7 months later, all renovations done, Amy sold and made her first small fortune. She then continued to buy homes ever since.
Amy attributes all her real estate success to her initial buying agent, Debbie Courtney with Caldwell Banker. She quickly became Amy’s mentor going through the real estate licensing process at the early age of 20. A short time later, Debbie passed away from breast cancer. She is devoted to using the knowledge she attained from Mrs. Debbie Courtney and continues her real estate journey today.
Amy took a break from real estate from 2009-2012 to complete a bachelors in Interior Design. She quickly engaged in the design field making connections with local vendors, artisans, and furniture manufacturers. Her love for design spiraled into success while living in Coronado, CA. She was lead designer for a boutique firm in Coronado for 6 years. Since moving to the Bay Area where her husband grew up she is diving into the local Santa Cruz market along with local artisans and vendors alike! Amy prides herself on her knowledge in design. With her expertise in construction and design she is able to incorporate the Compass Concierge Program in order to maximize the client's return of investment by choosing the right priced materials and finishes.
