About Amy

You could say that my Real Estate career was born from the age old quote, "Necessity is the Mother of all Invention". Of course I did not invent Real Estate but after being both a Buyer and Seller on multiple transactions I saw the need for a more transparent process with integrity as the driving force. Prior to becoming a Full Time Realtor, I enjoyed a 20 year career working for a High Net Worth Trust, managing properties and projects in Hawaii, Los Angeles, and New York. My role in that position had little room for error and the highest expectation for service and attention to detail. My initial intent with Real Estate was to focus on overseeing my family's real estate investments which has included a wide variety of transactions and projects including purchasing and selling, developing CPR and Agricultural projects, new construction, renovations, and owning and managing long term and vacation rentals. This firsthand real estate experience combined with my initial career proved to be invaluable when I made the transition from real estate hobbyists to a full time Realtor.

My friends and clients (the two are not mutually exclusive) will be the first to tell you that I am utterly unable to do anything half-way, no matter the task. About Billy

My move to Kauai started out, like many other mainland transplants, with a vacation. After traveling much of the globe chasing surf and culture, I knew the moment I arrived on the Garden Island in 2007 that this was where I would plant my roots. I grew up in Jacksonville Beach, Florida where I also earned my bachelor's degree in Marketing and Management from the University of North Florida. I spent over 10 years in the sales sector of the surf industry where I most notably grew my territory's sales volume to #1 globally.

I obtained my real estate license in 2008 when I began to work under the guidance of Kauai's #1 agent. Since then, I have been involved in over $800 Million dollars in transactions and have successfully guided 100's of local, national and multi-national clients with their real estate acquisitions and dispositions. My knowledge of the Kauai real estate market is unparalleled and extends far beyond just buying and selling. I know my role does not end when the sale records. I have a wealth of knowledge and great relationships when it comes to local vendors, contractors, restaurants, adventure guides and much more.

I enjoy surfing, offshore fishing, traveling, snowboarding, basketball, tennis, my dogs, and making those around me laugh (sometimes at their own expense). My interest in real estate was a gradual evolution. I have always loved homes, interiors, architecture, spaces, landscapes, and culture. As a student at the University of Oregon I felt drawn toward a major in Anthropology because I love different cultures so much, but decided to specialize in French Language & Literature. Being of Native Hawaiian/European descent, I have always been interested in learning more about the world and how people live and thrive.

This desire to see the world lead me to a 12 career in the travel and hospitality industry with a company that has consistently earned awards for being #1 in On-Time Performance and #1 in Customer Service and Hospitality both on a national and international level. I have taken my past career experiences in working for high-end fashion brands in both Lyon & Nice, France and New York City and applied these skills to my hospitality career. I absolutely love serving others and pride myself on my care, commitment, and kindness to my customers and clients in ensuring the highest level of service.

My husband, Pancho Sullivan, and I have been an incredible team together for 20 years. During his surfing career competing on the World Tour, we traveled all over the world and have created long lasting friendships and relationships along the way. As a husband and wife real estate team, we have experience in every aspect of homeownership from buying, selling, design, construction, development, architecture, landscaping and more.

We absolutely love Kauai Life. Living on this lush Garden Island has been the most rewarding experience of our lives. You could say that my passion for real estate was built from the ground up. Born in a Tree House in Ha’ena, Kaua’i and raised on O’ahu’s North Shore, life’s journey has given me a deep connection and appreciation for our natural environment and our island home.

After graduating from high school, I remember holding a college registration form in one hand and a passport application in the other. In that moment, I chose to follow my passion for surfing for a year just to see if I could hold my own against the best in the world. I never imagined that it would turn into a 20 year career that would take me around the world. There were successes and failures along the way, but through it all I learned invaluable life skills.

In my preparation and commitment to being a student of my craft, I continued to learn and grow to be the best that I could be. This determination and unstoppable drive led me to earn an X-Games Gold Medal, 15 World Tour victories and most importantly, friendships and relationships along the way that will last a lifetime.

With a passport full of life experience, I transitioned into the action sports industry where I spent 10 Years as the Sales/Marketing and Distribution manager for the Pacific Rim of a global apparel brand. I was able to successfully build the business in my area exponentially and earned the title of Sales Representative of the Year for 3 consecutive years. My dedication to building long lasting relationships and serving my clients with the highest standard of hospitality is what I value most.

The sport of surfing played a huge role in my life, but I have always believed in following your passion. The real estate industry was something that had been calling me for years. I grew up working construction for two of the top builders in Hawaii and I learned every phase and facet of construction from the ground up. It inspired me to purchase and develop my first property at age 25. Over the years I have learned a lot about every aspect of real estate and how to safeguard the biggest investments we make in our lives.
