  • About Chobee

Chobee Hoy began her real estate career in 1978 for the reason many single parents start a business, to earn enough money to support her family. A loving mother of three and a doting grandmother of eight, family has always been the central part of Chobee’s life. Chobee left her job training Girl Scout leaders and became a real estate agent to help her oldest son with his graduate school tuition. She fell in love with real estate right away. She especially loved supporting her clients through the intimate process of selling or buying a home. Soon Chobee became a broker and started her own real estate firm.

Growing up, volunteerism was always part of Chobee’s family’s culture. She believes people not only care about what happens in their home, but also about the health and well being of their greater community. A partial list of non profits that Chobee has served on include, The Brookline Education Foundation, Coolidge Corner Theatre Foundation, Brookline Preservation Commission, Brookline Music School, Women and Girls Thriving in Brookline, Brookline Adult and Community Education, Brookline Council for the Arts and Humanities, Brookline Rotary, Brookline Community Mental Health Center, Brookline Chamber of Commerce, The Brookline Teen Center and Brookline Youth Awards.

Chobee believes in serving her community and supports local businesses along with her charitable organizations. She is an advocate for working hard and giving back.
