Serving clients with integrity, enthusiasm and a touch of humor, Liz Whatley is a Chicago broker with more than two decades of real estate experience. Liz empowers you to make informed decisions, resulting in a seamless and fun transaction. Even in particularly complicated or unique situations, she serves clients with grace and optimism.
A Chicago native, Liz grew up in Glenview and Winnetka, and has lived downtown since 1992. She knows the schools, recreation, modes of transportation and culture in the city's diverse neighborhoods. Having studied changing market conditions, Liz accurately assesses property values, strategically prices homes and can anticipate potential difficulties that might arise during the closing.
She listens carefully to your wants and needs, and is never afraid to tell buyers which potential homes they should walk away from, or tell sellers what they need to do to prepare their home for listing. Committed to ongoing education regarding real estate, legal issues and contracts, Liz analyzes housing trends weekly and communicates pertinent info to clients.
From her paperless administrative process to her stunning marketing pieces to her negotiation tactics, Liz does everything she can to ensure a frictionless transaction. Along the way, she taps into her vast network of stagers, subcontractors, inspectors and other tradespeople to keep the ball rolling. Liz values her client relationships and is there for you long after the closing whether you have a real estate question, need a repair referral or want a restaurant recommendation.
Outside of open houses and walkthroughs, you're likely to bump into Liz at a concert, play or vinyl store, sampling the city's eclectic cuisine, or admiring the architecture. An avid traveler, Liz loves exploring the world and getting in touch with different cultures. But on the descent of each return flight, as the skyline comes into view, she's flooded with excitement to be back in this wonderful city she calls home.
