About Coastaloha Team
Mark Weisbarth and his father-in-law Jerome Brolan blend real estate expertise and enthusiasm to express their longtime passion for helping others. Mark's youthful energy and knack for tech and creative marketing are perfectly counterbalanced by Jerome's more than thirty years of hands-on experience and old school dependability. Their combined comprehensive service connects with a wide range of clients.
Coastside locals, both are humble Bay Area natives who carry the spirit of aloha as they guide clients through important (and sometimes stressful) life transitions. The Coastaloha team has assisted buyers and sellers from San Francisco to the Peninsula and down to Silicon Valley; however, they specialize on the San Mateo County coast, also known as "Little Hawaii".
Part of a new generation of Realtors who are social media savvy, Mark launched The Coastaloha Team with his father-in-law Jerome Brolan, a 30-year veteran in the industry. Coastaloha is built on Mark’s Hawaiian heritage; buyers and sellers on the San Mateo County Coast have come to count on this team’s kind, protective, and effective collaborations. Growing up in Half Moon Bay CA, Mark was proud of his small coastal town and showed a passion for helping others.. As a young hip hop musician, he started his own record label to provide a platform for talented local artists and helped employ them to teach art and music to kids. He formed an artist co-op for dancers and musicians, and owns his own clothing line called “Highway One Love”. A natural entrepreneur and people person, Mark is now making a name for himself as a Realtor. This master mediator and negotiator is beloved by clients and colleagues alike. Born as a fourth generation San Franciscan, Jerome moved with his family to Sunnyvale when he was four. A natural athlete, he grew up developing his talent for track and field, cross country, judo, and wrestling. Drafted during the VietNam war he quickly earned a place on the US Army boxing team, where he became an accomplished Golden Glove champion. Fast-thinking, an excellent strategist, and good at anticipating another's next move, Jerome took those traits directly to real estate. In 1989 he became a licensed agent and never looked back; he's been a top producer throughout his career.
"I love what I do. Every day is different, and every client is too. I enjoy finding solutions to transaction curve balls and keeping everyone calm as we move towards success," says Jerome. His goal is to facilitate dreams of home ownership, and his track record speaks for itself.
Jerome and his wife Carol have lived in Hawaii, but they returned to their beloved California coastal community to raise two children, Brendan and Alicia. When not showing properties or prepping them for sale, you'll find Jerome hiking up Montara Mountain, playing the guitar, or exploring local beaches and hiking trails with his granddaughter. He brings the same joy, dedication, and determination to his transactions as he does to marathon runs. Find out for yourself!
