Melanie Collins grew up a true Southerner, from showing horses in 4H to football games at the University of Georgia, where she earned her BA in Marketing. She spent her career working in San Francisco, New York, and for the last 15 years right here in Atlanta. Her experience with global brands and local favorites includes marketing and advertising roles with Microsoft, Toyota, Home Depot, Cox Media Group, and Terrapin Brewery. After renovating and selling two properties with Lee, she was inspired to begin a full-time real estate career.
Lee Collins is originally from England, where he grew up renovating homes and restoring cars in the Home Counties of London. After attending the University of Cardiff in Wales, Lee worked as a lawyer, including work in real estate conveyance procedure. While managing an award-winning private practice outside of London, Lee met Melanie and relocated to Atlanta where he promptly began a successful real estate career, leveraging his law and construction background.
The Collins Collective was founded by Lee and Melanie Collins with a mission to grow their superior customer service offering throughout metro Atlanta and beyond. Lee and Melanie work collaboratively with other hyper-competent agents locally and across a vast global network to meet the needs of clients anywhere and at any stage of buying, selling, or investing in real estate.
Lee and Melanie Collins enjoy traveling, and time with family on their small hobby farm outside of Atlanta where Melanie paints equestrian artwork and Lee works on classic cars and vintage watches. They are also active in the local community and support several charities, including The Lily Foundation, and The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
