"I just wanted to take the time to say thank you. You have been more than a Realtor. You have been a friend, a hard worker, a sister, mother, peer, counselor, decorator, deal finder, deal shopper, stager, maid, dog sitter, problem solver, fixer upper, advertiser, marketer, and most important you have dealt with a not so normal seller. I am so grateful for every minute you have invested into my transition, life and effort into selling my home, and you deserve a genuine compliment and moment of gratitude." - Ken

"Susan represented me in the purchase of my new home this year. I had some very specific requirements and limitations that I placed on her. Let’s face it, I was a difficult customer. On top of that, we were in a sellers’ market and the pickings were quite slim. Despite all her hard work, we had a very difficult time finding something I was satisfied with. After a few months I finally called off the search and decided to stay where I was. But Susan kept looking. Four months later I got a call from her, “Mark, I think I found it.” We set up an appointment to see it, and sure enough, she had. We had a contract within a couple of days and closed within a month. The mortgage brokers, inspectors, and other professionals that she recommended made the closing process a breeze. Since the purchase, Susan has stayed involved helping me find a decorator, a utility concierge, and other service providers to help me get settled into my new place. She’s really gone the extra mile to help me get established, even after the papers were signed. I’ve purchased several homes in my life, and this experience was by far the best. I would highly recommend Susan for your real estate needs." - Mark

"It was a pleasure working with Susan on the sale of our house. We were assured that she would work diligently on our behalf, and she exceeded our expectations. Susan took great care to prepare the home for showing, and we received a contract the first week on the market. In addition to a positive outcome, her energy and positive disposition led her to play the additional role of advisor, problem solver, and friend. My previous experience with Realtors in town has been that a lot of attention is provided in winning the listing, yet subsequent to that, simply getting a phone call returned can be difficult. Our experience was the antithesis. I recommend her services to anyone looking to buy or sell a house." - Brian

"Susan is a top-notch Realtor! I called her on short notice for a high-quality condo with access to services, restaurants, the airport, and downtown. Susan had a broad array of offerings and suggestions to help meet my needs. We found a property at our first meeting that met all my needs at a good price. She shepherded the process from application to closing seamlessly while I was traveling. I've worked with a dozen Realtors the past 25 years. None of them is better than Susan! I will not hesitate to use her again." - Ronald

"Susan has an innate ability to locate exactly what you are looking for. During the home-finding process, she does so much work up front, to save me time. This is so important to me, as I am the CEO of an education company with over 1,300 employees to manage in offices around the country. I trust that Susan can help me find a home without me even seeing it prior to the purchase. She actually talked me out of overpaying hundreds of thousands of dollars for a home that I wanted to purchase. She always has my back!" - Kristin

About Susan

Susan takes pride in providing luxury service to every client at any price point. She has spent the majority of her professional life honing this rare gift, and it shows in everyday transactions with her.

Upon earning her Texas real estate license in 1983, Susan began representing institutional investors with the marketing and leasing of approximately 1,000,000 square feet of high-rise office buildings. She learned quickly how to meet demands and negotiate with CEOs of Fortune 500 companies.

In 1990, Susan moved to California and crossed over to luxury residential real estate sales for some of the most exclusive golf course communities in Southern California. These positions, along with her degree in art and design from Indiana University, have helped expand her skill set and knowledge base to include architectural design, construction management, and staging. Susan eventually came back home to Dallas where her children attended Highland Park schools and Southern Methodist University, and now are working in the real estate business as well. Upon Susan’s return to Park Cities real estate in 2010, she went on to close $5 million in sales in the first 60 days of that year.

With each new relationship forged, Susan continues to add to her loyal following. Of course, it doesn’t hurt that she’s easy to work with a Godsend as one client put it, and an excellent negotiator according to another. She’s got a kind heart and a philanthropic bent, and enjoys meeting needs wherever she can, especially in the area of special needs. She co-founded La Casa Center for Autism in San Diego and was a founding board member of the Coachella Valley Autism Society of America. Locally, Susan served on a special needs task force appointed by Congressman Pete Sessions and also supports the Park Cities Learning Difference Association and Junior Charity League.
