About Dana

I'm a Southern California (Orange County) native but my father's family moved to Hawaii in the 1880s, so the Big Island has always had a big part of my heart. I went to college at San Jose State University and after more than a decade in the tech industry, I started to feel the pull to make the Big Island home. After numerous vacations and triathlon events here, I finally decided to make it happen...I booked a one-way ticket, quit my job, and packed a few bags with hopes to make my dream of living on Hawaii Island real.

I immediately found a new career in real estate at one of the most prestigious private communities in the world - Kukio Beach and Golf Club. I fell in love with the luxury real estate market after managing the office of Kukio Properties and later selling at one of the Kona coast's newest luxury projects, Kohanaiki.

As a licensed real estate broker and certified Resort and Second-Home Property Specialist, I've been a part of teams that have consistently averaged more than $100M a year in sales. Being a part of Compass allows me the opportunity to bring my luxury real estate experience to clients all over the west side of Hawaii Island.

In my spare time, I volunteer in the emergency room at North Hawaii Community Hospital and tag along with friends as they manage their cattle ranches. I enjoy hiking, all things horses, traveling the world, enjoying the spectacular beaches that Hawaii island has to offer, and taking care of my miniature horse and not-so miniature dogs.
