David started his professional education at Parsons School of Design at the age of 14, taking Summer courses at the prestigious school in order to get a head start on the rest of the world. After graduating High School with honors, he attended Parsons and amazed his professors with his out of the box way of thinking about design.
David then attended the equally prestigious Fashion Institute of Technology, which he achieved much acclaim as well as an Associate and Bachelor of Fine Arts. He continues his relationship with FIT through their Alumni organization, the FIT Museum and the Couture Council.
David served on the committee of The Winter Antiques Show for many years, benefiting East Side House Settlement, a community-based organization located in the South Bronx which helps to improve the lives of approximately 10,000 individuals each year by providing quality education and community resources to residents of Northern Manhattan and the Bronx.
David also tirelessly works to promote dog adoptions here in New York as well as New Jersey through See Spot Rescued, a non-profit self-funded organization which saves countless dogs each year and helps them to find their fur-ever homes.
