Ayana was born and raised in Fort Washington, MD a suburb just outside of DC. Her intimate knowledge of DC and its surrounding neighborhoods allows her to think outside the box to find the perfect property for her clients. Ayana’s passion for real estate began when she purchased her first property in DC at the age of 23 in Columbia Heights. She has since purchased and sold several properties for investment purposes and is able to offer a unique perspective to clients during one of the most pivotal decisions of their lives.
Ayana is a cum laude graduate of Spelman College with a degree in Economics. Her analytical and problem solving skills are an important asset to her clients when deciding on an offer or asking price. She holds the designation of Certified Negotiation Expert (CNE) as negotiations are the most important aspect of a real estate transaction.
Ayana has held positions in both commercial and residential real estate in her 15 year career. Ayana’s mission is to create and build wealth through real estate for all clients across the spectrum. She works with developers to identify and analyze properties and enjoys being on construction sites and providing value-add solutions to her clients. Ayana also enjoys working with first-time home buyers as well as experienced buyers and sellers. To say that Ayana loves all things real estate is an understatement!
In addition to the sale and marketing of real estate, Ayana loves to spend time with her husband and two young daughters, cook, travel and explore. She is also an avid reader and volunteers her time in her community of Columbia Heights/Mount Pleasant to increase literacy. She also works daily to acquire and perfect the Spanish language.
