Wydlers' approach to residential real estate, combined with George's heartfelt desire to see the clients realize their dreams just as he has, are the reasons George is very pleased to call Wydler Brothers Real Estate home. To him, being a realtor is all about customer satisfaction. Prior to becoming a residential realtor, George gained years of experience in real estate that included being a commercial leasing agent for a prominent local developer; a commercial economic development specialist for Arlington County Government and Senior Director of Operations for the Washington Capitals. It was early on during his eight years with the Capitals that he introduced his idea of building what is now the Medstar Capitals Iceplex, which serves as the professional hockey team's training center, the organization's corporate offices and Arlington's community ice skating facility built atop the Ballston Parking Garage. He then served as the Capitals development team's project manager through design, development and construction which was completed in 2007. A native Virginian and longtime resident of Bethesda, George's knowledge of the District, Maryland and Northern Virginia runs deep. George and his wife Elizabeth reside in Westmoreland Hills and are the parents of Geoffrey and James, both graduates of Bethesda-Chevy Chase High School. When not working, George can be found tinkering in his garage on one of many ongoing home improvement projects.
