When most girls were playing with dollhouses, Jessica was staging hers and trying to sell it to her friends. Now, as her 5-year-old son puts it, “she finds houses and people to live in them, for their homes.” After working on Capitol Hill and then a DC communications firm, Jessica followed her passion for helping people find both a house and a home and became an agent.
Jess and her family, husband Jake and two boys Grayson and Ben, moved to Bethesda after spending several years living in Washington’s Logan Circle and Palisades neighborhoods. Jessica believes that each client and every house is an opportunity to create a new home, and that even an obsessive understanding of the market is not a substitute for listening and understanding a client’s needs and vision.
What Jessica's Clients are saying:
Jessica was an ideal partner when I sold my Washington DC condominium. She guided me through pricing, the best time to list, and helped me stage it appropriately for the target buyers. All this led to a contract for the listed price in 14 days. I appreciated her expertise, creativity and great sense of humor.

I've got to believe that one of the most daunting tasks there is, is buying a home. I mean, not the actual purchase, but the time it takes actually find and buy a home. There's the uncertainty of the markets, the stressfulness of picking the "right property", and working with essentially strangers who are digging into your finances and beyond. When my family, my wife, 14 month-old daughter and myself, were faced with a deadline and had to move out of our rental property unexpectedly, I honestly thought that we were going to have a hard time settling down into a house that we could afford, and I was frightened at the prospect of having to do this on our own. Thankfully, Jessica Ward was there and she helped us find our ideal home, in our idea spot on Capitol Hill. For the better part of over a month, knowing our deadline to move, Jessica would show up on Capitol Hill, at any hour of the day that worked for us, and show us properties that were carefully curated with our family's needs and wants in mind. For several weekends, we toured dozens of properties and Jessica would point out things to me that I honestly wouldn't have thought of, not being a real estate agent myself. She carried herself around these developers and agents with the confidence of a 15-year real estate veteran, and at every property we went to, I felt secure knowing I had someone who knew their stuff. But like working with a close friend, it never felt as if she was working for her job - it seemed like she really enjoyed the task of helping us find our new home. Once we settled on a property, and knowing the housing market in DC, Jessica worked tirelessly with us, checking in several times a day/week to make sure that our proverbial ducks were in a row, and when the offer was accepted, it was hard to tell who was happier about the sale. I would recommend Jessica Ward's services to anyone at any level of wanting to become a homeowner, for any part of DC and the surrounding areas. She's a relentless worker without whom, we couldn't have found our dream home, and I mean this as sincerely as possible. Jessica is a pro and she found us the perfect house and I firmly believe she could for anyone else.
