Laura grew up in Bethesda, Maryland. Having graduated from Green Acres and Georgetown Day School, Laura went on to earn her BA in Cello Performance from the Cleveland Institute of Music. She returned to the D.C. area to complete her MA in Arts Management from American University, where she was selected to participate on the executive committee of the Emerging Arts Leaders Symposium. Laura has worked with some of the most notable arts institutions in the city, including the Embassy Series and Washington Performing Arts. Her most recent position was in the fundraising department at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts. Laura also manages her own private cello studio and is on the Board of the Kindler Cello Society.
Beyond her work in the arts, Laura has developed both a love and expertise for investing in commercial real estate and investing in and rehabbing residential homes. She is proud to join the all-women team of FPL&M and pursue specialties in new construction and first-time home buyers.
