With over 60 years of combined experience in the real estate business, the Morrell-Roth Team has consistently proven themselves as leaders in the Washington, DC real estate community. Prior to joining Compass in the summer of 2016, the Morrell-Roth Team, formerly known as the Morrell-McCormick-Roth Team, enjoyed a prolific tenure spanning 12 years at Washington Fine Properties. Alongside their former partner, Matthew McCormick who also joined Compass as the Senior Managing Director of sales and Agent Development, the team brokered some of DC’s most noteworthy sales. Such sales include the most expensive condo sale of 2015 and also the most expensive home sale in DC history, which was a Georgetown home that sold for approximately $25 million. The team has also represented 61% of the sales at the Ritz-Carlton Residences in the past 4 years.
Throughout the last ten years, the team has been consistently recognized by the Wall Street Journal and Real Trends as one of the ‘Top 250 Sales Teams’, where they continue to uphold their national and local reputation for resilient negotiation skills, knowledge of the market, attention to detail, and strong interpersonal skills. As a top agent team, Ben Roth and Ellen Morrell consistently do over $100 million in sales annually!
Currently, the Morrell-Roth Team works out of Compass’ Georgetown office, where Ms. Morrell and Mr. Roth serve as Senior Vice Presidents. The team is also comprised of Hadley Debevoise Allen, Sales Associate, Nichole Norton, Sales Associate, Amy Dean, Sales Associate, and Molly Farmer, Marketing and Client Relations Coordinator.
