Many people believe the ideal Realtor would be a family member—someone who knows you well, cares for you deeply, and always puts your happiness first. While not everyone has a relative in the business, Debora King's clients have found that kind of connection with her. Debora cultivated her real estate skills from the ground up. Born In Mexico City, she moved to the Pasadena area in her teens and soon started working to augment the family income. She quickly found a home in real estate—first as a receptionist, then in marketing, and finally as personal assistant to several successful agents who became her role models. The camaraderie she enjoyed with fellow professionals is still one of the most rewarding parts of her job.
By the time Debora earned her own real estate license (and became a certified Notary Public), she was prepared to combine her in-depth knowledge with a deeply caring personal style.
Today, Debora collaborates with clients from first-time buyers to experienced investors, guiding them through every step of the complex real estate process. Many clients later say how much they appreciated feeling they always had her full attention.
"She was encouraging every step of the way," says one buyer. "She knew what to say when I had a negative attitude. If I was stressing about something, she would talk me through it. If she knew I wasn’t comfortable, she wouldn’t push. She also wouldn’t let me settle. She said it was my right to be picky, because whatever I chose was going to be my home.
