"We have known Liz as a family friend for many years. When we were considering listing our home in Los Angeles (3536 Ashwood Ave.), Liz offered to pull together a package of information to help us assess our home’s current value. Her review of our neighborhood and the comparable homes was thoughtful and thorough.
When we purchased on current home in Palm Desert, we worked with Liz to determine whether we should rent or list our Ashwood property. Liz outlined both options – including the benefits of each. During this process, she introduced us to one of her clients who was looking to invest in properties in our neighborhood. The client made an offer, and Liz worked with us to accept the offer and negotiate a deal that allowed us to rent back our home for a few months in order to pack and move into our new home. The entire process was remarkably painless, and Liz’s tenacity and intelligence helped us to architect a scenario that benefited both us and the buyer. It was truly impressive.
We hope to purchase a second home in the Los Angeles area in the future, and will absolutely be working with Liz to help us do this. We have also referred her to several friends and colleagues and can make ourselves available via phone or email for additional information regarding working with her.

"In early September of this year, 2009, I happened upon a small ocean-front house in Malibu that was for sale and decided to investigate. I brought my husband and one of our daughters (together with her 'crew') the next day to check out an open-house. We were greeted in a warm fashion by Liz Cappola, a young real estate agent that I have come to deeply appreciate. She did not 'dog' us with a plate of warm cookies. She was pleasant, informative and available, but never pushy or too close.
We did not think that house was right for us, but Liz followed up the next day and suggested several other properties that might match what we were looking for. We now have a signed contract for a perfect place for our family and put our house in Bel Air on the market. This would never have happened without Liz's patience, persistence and good nature.
I highly recommend Liz to any individual, couple, or family looking for their ideal situation in Southern California. It is hard to find the right spot, a good real estate agent can help the process. We are so grateful to have discovered Liz!
I am proud to share my discovery of Liz Cappola with all of you. She is the best.

Liz Cappola's strength in marketing and client negotiations have helped her become a top-producing agent on the Westside. With a gift for sales, Cappola is quick to admit that she "fell into the business." Her background is in fine art, advertising and film production, which has transferred very well to real estate and provided her with a unique set of skills when it comes to dealing with and managing the fast-paced nature of the real estate industry. She strongly believes that if a property has an outstanding marketing plan, it will sell more quickly and for a higher price. Cappola has used her expertise in art direction and advertising to develop effective marketing plans for her clients.
Among her clients are people in the entertainment industry, and her background in film provides an advantage in dealing with the special needs of this clientele. "I understand their needs and time constraints," Cappola says. "I am service oriented and know this is not a 9 to 5 job. If there's an email at midnight, chances are I will respond."
Beyond great client service, Cappola credits her success to having the self-confidence to deal with a variety of people and a range of properties. "It takes hard work and research. I know the territory very well and I am committed. It is one thing to know the geography on paper, but to know the physicality makes a difference," she says.
A native of Chicago, Liz came to Southern California while attending Chapman University in Orange County. Liz recently purchased her first home in Echo Park after being a Santa Monica resident for over 10 years. She is an active supporter of the Amanda Foundation and the Special Olympics. Liz loves to rock climb and follow the Dodgers!
