"We started our relationship long before we were actually looking to purchase a home. Eventually we moved away from Seattle but Eryn still kept in contact to hear about our life updates and where we were at. When we finally moved back to Seattle and settled we met up with Eryn and she clearly walked us through what the entire process would look like for first time buyer like us. She was transparent and upfront. I never felt like I was asking a dumb question. Eryn was also great about alleviating any worries I had. As more cautious planners, we knew we wanted to save up and really narrow down our neighborhoods of interest before going out to see homes. "My wife and I just completed our second home purchase, and our first purchase in the Seattle market. We recently moved from Texas and were overwhelmed by the expensive and highly completive market in Seattle. We actually decided to lease a house for our first year because of the overwhelming prospect of finding a house for purchase while trying to relocate. Fortunately, we met Eryn at one of the many open houses we attended while scouting our neighborhoods we were interested in. Surprisingly, most of the Realtors we met at these open houses really weren't that interested in helping us because we were not really ready to buy yet but Eryn was different. She was very welcoming at her open house and actually took the time to find out about our story and what we were interested in. The fact that we were not ready to buy at that time did not scare her away like all the other Realtors at the other open houses. We exchanged information with her and over the next few months she helped us find a fantastic lender, she organized a casual home buying class with other new buyers in the Seattle market, and ultimately she helped us buy our house. She was always responsive, even though we took several months to really begin the searching process. She took the time to really listen to what we wanted and helped us find the things on our wish list with a very tight budget for Seattle. She has excellent negotiation skills and strategy. We ended up in a bidding war that we won without going way over asking price. I didn't think this was possible, but Eryn had very subtle things in our offer that really made us shine in the bidding war. This was a very different and better experience than our first home purchase. Eryn provided excellent counsel and everyone on her team and the other people she recommended (lender, inspector, etc.) were all fantastic.
