About Friedman Team
We know data beats emotion and you will hire us for our expertise, vision and flawlessly smooth ability to transact multi-million dollar deals, but you should also know what makes our team unique, truly successful and reliable. Our standards are extremely high.

Creating the right team matters.

Lewis and Julie are siblings – they share a tight bond and the longest relationship any two real estate partners could ever have. It's a bond of trust and honesty. Even their dogs Mozart, a rescue pet, and Scooby, a Golden-Doodle, are best friends. Lewis joined Julie at Bellmarc Realty in 2000 , and they later founded Julie Friedman Realty which is now part of Compass.

The two have transacted thousands of deals together, valued at over $650m, and met so many kind and amazing folks along the way. Transactions are intensely personal; Buyers and Sellers often become part of the Friedman Team's closest friendship group, sharing holidays, family celebrations (and sorrows) and milestones. Four buyers and their families recently joined Julie for her son's bar-mitzvah in Rhodes, Greece, infusing the occasion with an even greater joy.

Daniele Kurzweil began on a temporary basis while Julie was pregnant with her third son. They knew rock-star material, and begged her to stay on the team. Her expertise in technology, and unbridled humor, helps reach new constituents in up and coming neighborhoods. She has an insane knowledge of Manhattan and Brooklyn hotspots, parks, cafes and dog runs. Bruce Wayne, her rescue Chihuahua, knows how to hail a cab, wait patiently at bus-stops and is a frequent Q train rider. Daniele is an Upper East Sider, born and raised, knowing almost every building lining the streets.

Alan brings exceptional client relations skills a grasp of the real estate industry to his position as a sales agent at Compass. Originally from Denver, CO, Alan began his stint in real estate at an early age, helping his mother, who owns a financial focused real estate, with open houses during the summers. He graduated from college in Florida with a Bachelor of Arts in Business Communications, relocated to New York City 2011 after spending several years in Aspen. Alan speaks Spanish fluently, when he is not at work he enjoys traveling, hiking, sailing spending time outdoors.

Perri earned a bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Virginia and her Masters in Business from New York University. She also hold a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification. Her background brings a unique analytical and creative approach to Real Estate. She focuses on providing true value to her clients by equipping them with meaningful data to make informed decisions and working tirelessly on their behalf. In her spare time, Perri's hobbies include playing golf, pickleball, and basketball. You can find her at a Knicks game or a Broadway show.

In 2011, Judy Olenick and her family moved into Manhattan from her turn of the century brownstone in Cobble Hill. Julie and Lewis were her brokers. It was an immediate ‎shared vision. The Friedman Team sent Judy off to Real Estate School for her real estate license. Judy is trustworthy, honest, reliable and smart. Having gut renovated several properties, Judy appreciates scale and space, and helps the Team's clients' "see themselves " in various potential apartments. Her integrity is her everything- Judy's opinion reflects her profound level of fiduciary trust and Buyers and Sellers will find her refreshingly honest.

Jill, our colleague from Bellmarc and Julie Friedman Realty, works super hard on behalf of her clients, ensuring that they are well-schooled in the market and that deals are brought to successful conclusions. She is so committed to buying "the Best Fit" for her clients, that Jill recently spent a day with a client in each of the 5 boroughs to ensure he found "where" he wanted to live. Her commitment to customer service was honed during her successful career in sales at a renowned world-wide beauty corporation and she puts these skills to use daily with us at Compass. Jill, together with her husband, an attorney, two sons and sometimes -Penny- her adorable mini Malti-poo, has extensively travelled all over Europe (ask her about her destinations and travel tips!). She is vibrant, energized and cares deeply about every single client.

From commercial buildings and leases all across Manhattan and Brooklyn to Magnificent Duplex Central Park West Stunners, we are THE TEAM- The Friedman Team. We really live our mantra: Large enough to professionally service, small enough to personally care!
