Hugh Mulcahy

Coming from a predominately rental background, Hugh is excited to be part of the award-winning Cole Team . Working in full partnership with them, and benefitting from their support, expertise and ethics, he now provides superior client service in both the sale and rental markets. Before entering the Real Estate world as a salesperson, Hugh swung a hammer for almost 25 years as a builder, carpenter and contractor in NYC, California, Texas and Dutchess County, NY. Hugh’s high standards and attention to details/timeline made him successful in that industry. After his knees decided it was time to switch careers, with his extensive knowledge of building homes, what better transition than to sell them?

Hugh’s original passion was music. Studying at Montclair State (New Jersey) and B.I.T. (Hollywood, CA) in music theory and performance, it was no surprise that Hugh was drawn to Austin, TX and their famous Sixth Street scene. After spending a number of years in Texas, Hugh knew “there’s no place like home” so he moved to NYC in 1996 and never turned back.

When Hugh isn’t traveling the world, visiting 19 different countries (but who’s counting) he spends most of his time enjoying life on the Upper West Side with his brilliant wife and best friend. That’s what she said!
