Jacob Zimmerman

Jacob has been in the real estate world for over 20 years with experience in real estate brokerage operations, marketing, valuation and consulting prior to joining Compass as an agent. He was the Founder of the largest hospitality real estate marketplace in the country and has previously marketed over 30,000 listings totaling over $12 billion throughout the United States supporting sellers and brokers. He also headed up marketing, operations, and growth for a commercial/business brokerage where he planned and executed the strategic expansion of a single broker office to a California-wide operation which has now completed over 1,600 transactions. Jacob started his career with a top international hospitality real estate consulting firm where he worked on over $3 billion of commercial real estate financing transactions for proposed and existing developments and led the preparation of a sales offering of a 9-figure luxury resort which successfully sold. Having had the experience in commercial valuation, Jacob is highly adaptable and resourceful to provide clients valuation insight on the areas they are searching. Jacob brings his experience in real estate, valuation, digital expertise, hospitality and Bay Area market knowledge to provide his clients an optimal real estate buying and selling experience.
