Janet Attard has an amazing way of empowering the lives and dreams of others. From early childhood experiences in Northern New Jersey, at the ballet studio, Beers Flower Shop (her parent's shop), jogging past country homes on West Saddle River Road with her dog Shane, Jan’s passion for landscape design and luxury architecture matured. Summers on the coast of Maine, a love of nature, and exquisite coastal properties, all things “Down East”, water skiing off of an inner tube, blueberry pie eating contests, are fond family memories. Jan’s joy for life, passion, connection, and collaboration, overflows with her love to explore luxury properties. Moving to the West Coast (Palo Alto/Burlingame) soon after Graduation from Georgetown to work at Stanford Children's Hospital. Jan raised three sons in Danville, California all of whom are successful (Musician, Artist/Golfer, soon to be PhD Organic Chemistry). Jan's love for land, vineyard farming, and creating a wildlife preserve blossomed when she developed "Makiivka Estate", an organic farm, planting olive trees, grape vines, spreading grass, sharing a quiet oasis with guests from around the world and realizing her vision.
