"With the onset of the COVID pandemic, managing a rental apartment from
outside the city became very complicated. When the tenant moved out of my
apartment to get married in May 2020, I contacted Jim Farah at Compass. I
wasn’t dealing with a stranger. I had worked with him and Trish Goodwin in
the past on two occasions, both very positive.
Jim assisted me in many ways, starting with an initial visit to the apartment.
With the observations he provided, I was able to decide what work was
needed. Jim then accompanied two contractors to the apartment and sent me
their estimates for the renovation. When the renovation was completed, he
immediately scheduled a photographer and created the listing. Throughout
the process, he was meticulous in observing the numerous COVID
regulations, establishing a good rapport with the management company as
well as the superintendent of the building.
When two young women visited the apartment and decided to proceed with
the rental lease application, Jim arranged a Zoom encounter for the three of
us which proved to be very helpful. He provided ongoing guidance with a
particular attention to details which greatly facilitated the process. His
