About Jonathan
Jonathan has been extensively involved in real estate and the practice of law since the eighties. He brings to the table a broad-based skill set and extensive experience both as an attorney and in the last fifteen years as a commercial real estate broker. He has been the founder and developer of numerous food-service restaurant concepts that are still in operation today, which gives him a unique perspective of being on both sides of a negotiating table. Over the years Jonathan has earned his reputation for his outstanding advocacy skills. He has a keen understanding of the common and competing issues that are of importance to each of the respective parties to any transaction. He has established himself as an outstanding problem solver and always has a grasp of what it will take to make “the deal.” Jonathan brings experience, clarity of vision, advocacy skills, and market knowledge to each transaction.

Whether it is the sale of a 180 unit apartment complex for 38 million dollars; or representing a commercial retail tenant or owner looking to acquire or lease retail space, or the office user looking to expand or acquire 5,000 to 15,000 square feet; Jonathan has mastered the process required to bring about the desired outcome. He has represented hundreds of office users in connection with their lease requirements in the Boston Financial District as well as every Suburban Metropolitan Market, including but not limited to: Burlington, Woburn, Newton, Needham, Wellesley, Quincy, and Braintree. On the retail side, he has represented numerous retailers and developers looking to acquire or lease their space. He has a comprehensive understanding of the restaurant industry as a former owner, operator, and entrepreneur and has represented numerous restaurant operators as they seek to expand.

Relying on his experiences, expertise, and education, Jonathan brings a unique vantage point that enables him to deliver to his clients' optimum results. His multi-tiered skills assure his clients of the most favorable business and economic terms.

Jonathan received his J.D. degree in 1975 from the New England School of Law, with a concentration in real estate-related law, and was a practicing attorney for many years. He also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from the University of Maryland.
