About Karen
Karen is proud to say that she is a native Houstonian. She obtained both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Education from the University of Houston. Following her graduation, she spent 28 years in the field of education, with twenty of those years as a Counselor. She credits her love of people along with her listening and critical thinking skills as a major asset in her ability to understand the wants and needs of her clients.
Having a life-long passion for homes and interior design, Karen combined her counseling background with real estate in 2009 to share her knowledge and familiarity of Houston and surrounding areas with her clients. Knowing that buying or selling a home is one of the largest and most complex decisions people make in their lifetime, Karen strives to educate and guide her clients toward a seamless and stress-free real estate experience. Karen has been married to her husband, Tim, for 31 years and is an adoring Mom to Dustin and “Bebe” to her three grandsons, Hudson, Brody, and Brooks. She spends her free time attending her grandson’s sporting events and fitting in an occasional “Retail Therapy” session.
As a cancer survivor, she is a staunch supporter of the American Cancer Society and attributes her current health to the magic of medicine and the miracles of God.
