"Great Experience Overall"

Ken was very knowledgeable about the market as well as very patient with me as a first time home buyer. He took the time to help me sift through several options and narrow down my choices until I found something optimal. I highly recommend him to anyone looking.

"Professional, Diligent, and Friendly"

Ken had my back throughout the entire buying process - from touring homes and asking the right questions from the listing agents, to signing and closing out ensuring that I knew what I was signing. He was great to work with, flexible with his availability, very knowledgeable of the market, and friendly. I would absolutely recommend Ken to anyone looking to buy a home in the Bay Area!

"Realtor of the year"

Ken is a true professional and understands the market place for distressed properties which I had. He sold my fire damaged Alamo home in less than a week

"Sold our home in San Jose, CA"

Ken is very detailed, yet also a people person. He walked us through every step, answered all of our questions, and was very responsive. He gave us advice on preparing and staging our home, and even move pieces of furniture and used his power washer to better present our front porch. At the time of our sale, Ken helped negotiate a proposal that met our needs, and we believe also worked out for the buyers too. We recommend Ken as a real estate expert.

"Knows this Market!"

Very knowledgeable, and always did his homework about the properties we were looking at. Ken was very patient, and communicated very well. Especially in the midst of a pandemic.

"Ken went above and beyond to make sure that we are always on the right track the entire buying process. He made everything happen the way we hoped they would and we are truly grateful. We met Ken at one of the open houses and felt comfortable with him so we asked him to be our realtor. We would have gone with Ken regardless of his (realty agency) affiliation. Would definitely recommend Ken to our family and friends who are looking to buy or sell a house."

"I cannot recommend that you select Ken as your realtor strongly enough. Ken helped us purchase a home earlier this year in a particularly difficult market. The combination of a Sellers Market, Multiple Offers Way Over Asking, and Quick Sales created a daunting environment as potential buyers. Ken spent time with us to learn what we were looking for - even when we were not sure what that was. He listened as we evaluated each property together isolating likes and dislikes. Through the whole process, Ken kept us focused on what we needed to do in clear terms with concrete instructions to keep us moving forward with our quest. He tirelessly spent hours researching the market listings and searching for inventory that met our criteria. He helped us navigate thru submitting offers on multiple properties that ultimately were not accepted. This all turned out for the best as he located and negotiated our successful purchase of our Forever Home!!! He managed to get us in to see the Seller early and we all bonded. After some minor negotiation, our offer was ultimately accepted and the subsequent process of dotting I's and crossing T's was seamless! We owe our daily appreciation of our home to Ken. He is not just our realtor but has become our friend. You would be well served by selecting him as your Realtor!”

About Ken
Always interested in Real Estate and Finance, I bought my first investment house when I was 22. (Eventually selling it, the profits made paid college tuition for my two sons).

After working in sales, web-site development, finance, etc. and being president of my family’s small business (sales of presentation bookbinding systems)  for 30 years or so, I found the career I want.  Real Estate.  It is Exciting. It is Meaningful.  I have seen my clients eyes widen and just start to smile.  Nowhere else in business is this portrayed, nowhere else is this much client excitement.  And this is why I wish I changed careers 25 years earlier.  When I sold the business, my wife wanted to know what I planned to do.  I thought it best to become a professional real estate agent.  I took all the courses online and passed the RE test in downtown Oakland.  My wife and I then took a few weeks off and went to France, seeing Paris, and visiting my uncle and cousins in Lyon. Coming home to work I was able to hone my sales skills for this new career.  The sales passion I enjoyed all my career has been of great use in Real Estate.

I truly enjoy the excitement of first time buyers when we find out their offer has been accepted.  I also know how it hurts when the other people get the house. There is drama, sleepless nights, and friendships made. Selling a home also has its excitement, when the offers come, there is general happiness and champagne.  But through it all I will be there with you.

I was born in San Francisco, went to Skyline High School in Oakland, and graduated from UC Santa Cruz with a BA in Politics. My family has been living in Moraga for over 25 years, children went to Camino Pablo, Joaquin Moraga and Campolindo High School, have graduated from universities and are working.  I've raised money for MEF, was head fundraiser for Moraga Baseball when my kids played, volunteered for Campo Football (chain gang manager and back-up photographer), Lamorinda Soccer Club and the local swim club.  We've had cats, rats, and a Westie dog which we walk around the block or at the Lafayette Reservoir. We all love the hiking, biking, kayaking and the other amenities that Lamorinda and the Bay Area has to offer. I hope I can share them with you.
