"Buying a home is more than just purchasing real estate – feelings, emotions, memories, and relationships are built in the process. As first-home buyers, we began with little direction and too many questions to consider. We needed structure in our decisions, options, and answers – Kyle Markham took on the challenge.
Without hesitation, he provided his availability and paved the road to our new home. Kyle proved his patience with tending to every question, concern, and risk. Using his resources and tremendous network, Kyle had the answers we needed, and in the process, he transferred the knowledge to us. Our naivety as home-buyers lessened and our confidence grew. During a typically stressful process, Kyle’s assurance granted us the ability to enjoy and grow our excitement in this time as much as our stress would allow. My fiancée and I buying a home meant more than just ‘real estate’ to Kyle.
Kyle cares about people – he understands and sees the process on a humane level. His empathy is impressive, but his desire to help people is on another level. At every step, he checked on us to ensure we were comfortable. As our excitement grew, his did as well. Kyle sees how much a home purchase means to people. The enjoyment and emotion is contagious – what begins as an experience turns into a crafted story that evokes sentiment from the memories of telling to the excitement from the imagination of listening.
As homeowners today, we will forever thank Kyle for his help and would recommend him to anyone looking to purchase." - Peter
"Kyle has helped us both purchase and sell properties and is great at what he does! It’s always a pleasure working with Kyle! Looking forward to working with him in the future." - Christopher
"Kyle's work leads me to a new classification for real estate agents: the 100 hour club! In under 100 hours, we went from beginning to talk about properties to having our new home under contract. My wife and I found Kyle to be friendly; knowledgeable about various aspects of the process and homes themselves; and willing to drive all over the Chicagoland area to look at what we could find in our price range. He listened well to our desire to be near the blue line, have natural light, and to find parking that suited our needs. When it comes to the negotiation process, this can be a make it or break it time to work with an agent. Kyle was very good. I'm pleased to highly recommend Kyle if you are buying or selling a home. If we ever decide to move again within the greater Chicagoland area, we'd call Kyle first." - Aaron
"I have nothing but wonderful things to say about Kyle! This was my first experience buying a home and Kyle immediately put my mind at ease. He set clear expectations and held my hand from the beginning to the end. I couldn't be more grateful for such a knowledgeable and professional agent. If I'm ever in the market to buy or sell another home I would not hesitate to contact Kyle." - Romeshia
"I had great experience working with Kyle. From the very first meeting we hit it off very well. Understood everything i asked and worked hard to find me what i needed. I'm not really a phone talker and like to communicate through text and email and it worked really well. Always on time for all of our viewings and gave his honest opinion. Wish we could have worked together longer but i found a house! Thanx for all your assistance Kyle!! He's really easy going and a pleasure to work with." - Karen
Kyle began his career in real estate once he graduated college from Loyola University Chicago. In his first two years in the business he has sold over 50+ homes, over $8 million in total volume. He has secured a coveted spot on Coldwell Banker’s Top 30 under 30 list, earned National Rookie of the Year for selling 32 homes in his first year in the business, got published in Chicago Agent Magazine, and earned Top in Sales at his office month after month over veteran agents and teams.
He specializes in residential real estate, working with both buyers and sellers, as well as investors. He works mainly in the South and Southwest suburbs of Chicago, but will always drive wherever his business takes him! He’s done business from Minooka and Flossmoor, to Irving Park and Hyde Park, and all the way up North in Niles or West to Oswego!
In October 2019, Kyle made a positive change and decided to join the most exciting and innovative real estate company, Compass. When you work with Kyle, you can expect his same unconditional support and high standards of customer service, now combined with Compass’s most innovative technology and tools for both buyers and sellers.
More about Kyle: He grew up in Tinley Park, Illinois, attended Victor J Andrew High School playing soccer and volleyball, and then in college, he majored in Philosophy and minored in Management and Business Administration. He previously started a mobile running app business as well as worked in the restaurant industry for over three years, which is where his appreciation for both innovation and customer service come from. He has two older siblings, one living in Illinois, and the other living in San Diego, California. Kyle now lives in Wheaton, IL with his girlfriend and their dog, Tito, which they adopted at 6 months old. Adopting their puppy inspired Kyle to now volunteer weekly at the local dog shelter, West Suburban Humane Society. He spends his "other free time" exploring and appreciating new restaurants, whiskeys, coffees, and wine, as well as working out and tuning into all the newest entrepreneurial, self-help, and leadership books & podcasts.
