Whether it was the process of shaping a bowl on a potter's wheel or shaping interior spaces, I have always had a passion for design. After receiving a Fine Arts degree in Interior Architecture from California College of the Arts, I worked in business development for a major architectural firm and later for a developer on a large-scale condo conversion. Ultimately, selling homes became the path that gave me the most satisfaction. The LA real estate landscape with its unique mix of character homes is the perfect draw, especially the older communities of Hollywood, Los Feliz, Silver Lake and Echo Park. Adding to my skill-set were the years spent at San Francisco and Los Angeles law firms in administrative and paralegal roles. There I gained an attention to detail and a solid grasp of contract language and legalese. These tools have been a major asset to clients in what are typically fast-paced transactions. My biggest priority is keeping everything on track so that both parties can conclude a sale with the trust and confidence that the process has served them well. I am acutely aware of the hot-button issues that surface in a transaction and stay in front of the inevitable bumps in the road. Approaching negotiations from a "win-win" perspective has equated to consistently smooth transactions and a positive reputation among my peers. Currently, I am a member of the Neighborhood Issues Committee of the Echo Park Improvement Association helping to guide new residential and commercial growth.
