"Lisa Pound helped us find a second home in Santa Monica under sub-optimal circumstances: the outset of the coronavirus pandemic, minimal supply and high demand for homes, and very picky clients! Despite all of those challenges, we bought a beautiful home in our ideal neighborhood. As out-of-state buyers, we leaned heavily on Lisa's expert knowledge of the area, her support with ever-changing pandemic restrictions on the real estate market, her negotiating expertise, and her ability to get the deal closed quickly. Lisa was extraordinarily professional, patient, and endlessly optimistic throughout the process. We had some heart-breaking moments, but she never wavered in her belief that we would find our perfect home. And we're so glad we did. " - Dr. Kerry Ann Rock

"Lisa was essential in helping us successfully buy a new home and sell our old home. It was an enormously complex endeavor, dealing with the ever-tricky Santa Monica housing market, and it's really no exaggeration to say that we couldn't have done it without her. She was patient, encouraging, informative, available, and always brimming with positivity every step of the way. Her vast experience really showed whenever we had questions about how to handle tricky situations, because she's been through them before. From finding the right place for us and putting together a great bid, to working through all the inspections and getting the property set up, and then from preparing our place for sale and handling offers, to keeping things moving smoothly to a successful closing, she just made everything so much easier. We absolutely recommend her without any reservations. She's amazing." -TK

"I don't recall how we got connected with Lisa but we're so glad that we did. Lisa helped us sell our condo then again helped us with buying our first single-family home in this crazy Los Angeles/Culver City market. The process would not have been as smooth as they were if it weren't for Lisa. Lisa is professional and knowledgeable, and her timely responses calmed our nerves during the buying process which can be very daunting. We highly highly recommend Lisa Pound if you're looking for an agent." - C. Hu

About Lisa
Lisa's is one of those rare souls that remains committed to her work and uses all of her life experiences to bring joy to those she encounters. Her initial degree was in Art History and out of college worked primarily for Architecture firms in their art/graphic departments. From design, she moved into Business Development and then to Finance, again, caring for the communication of business criteria to designers. Her greatest asset is her ability to translate complex subjects into everyday language. From the world of Financial Management for architects, her interest grew in the real estate market, first as a lender and then in real estate. As a real estate agent she is able to blend all of her previous knowledge and skills for the benefit of her clients.

Happy, long term clients are her greatest asset. She takes joy and pride in building relationships that last more than twenty years. In 2020, during the pandemic, she helped her 2nd client in real estate sell their house 20 years later for the price of their dreams. While Santa Monica will always be close to home, Lisa has helped her clients buy and sell properties all over California: Oakland, Mendocino, Ojai, Ventura, Oxnard, just to name a few. Lynn says, "If I could give 100 out of 5 - I would! Lisa is one of the most skilled real estate professionals I know! Over the years - we have been through 5 escrows together & this last one was a move back to CA from Hawaii."

To further develop her skills in communication and personal development, Lisa graduated from the University of Santa Monica with a Masters in Spiritual Psychology plus an additional 3rd year of studies in Consciousness, Health & Healing. She uses these skills every day throughout the real estate transaction as well as in service to those in need. She works with teenagers in the Foster Care System as a CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocate) and is an active member of Ignatians West (a community working with the poor and protecting the earth).

With deep roots in Southern California, Lisa's grandfather worked as a sheepherder for Mr. Agoura (Yes the one that the city is named after him) and annually walked the sheep from Calabasas to Bishop and back again. Her grandparents were married in the Old Plaza Church near Union Station and settled on a ranch as dry farmers living in a shanty in the Miracle Mile area of Los Angeles. Who would have guessed that years later, their great-granddaughter would be finding people homes in the same area they use to farm.
