Client Testimonials

"I think that Mark is as professional as they come when it comes to choosing a broker to buy or sell a home. His dedication and understanding of what we were looking for is the main reason my family and I will be moving into our first home in which Mark represented us on as buyers." - Adam

About Mark

Born and raised in Brentwood, Mark Handler, a top producing agent and local Westside expert, brings over seventeen years of real estate experience to Compass. After spending the early years of his working life in residential property management, Mark, a second generation Realtor, left his role as Managing Director at PMG Properties, Inc. to partner with his parents - two highly successful Los Angeles real estate agents. Together, the trio formed one of the most notable family teams in the area. After twelve years, Mark embarked on his own thriving real estate career, leveraging his unmatched experience and uncanny grasp of the local market.

Driven by his passion for real estate, Mark attributes much of his success to the fact that he is a problem solver at heart. He has built his business on relationships and enjoys serving as a guiding light for his clients, from seasoned investors to first time home buyers alike. Known for crafting creative marketing and pricing strategies, Mark takes a hands-on approach to buying and selling - one that’s closely informed by Compass’ cutting edge tools and technology.

Mark loves nothing more than landing a client’s dream home, negotiating a fair deal on their behalf, and serving as a trusted advocate through the entire process. Equal parts patient and compassionate, Mark is renowned for being abundantly attentive and laser-focused on the details. Trustworthy, loyal, and unquestionably honest, it’s no surprise that he’s maintained a number of lifelong friendships with former clients.

Instilled with a deep love for his local community, Mark cherishes the friendships that he’s developed while coaching his nine-year-old son Bryan’s Little League and Pony League baseball teams, as well as the connections he has made during his son’s early school years.
