Lance Hughes

Lance was born and raised in Central Texas, but got to Colorado as fast as he could, as the saying goes. While attending Texas Tech University on a basketball scholarship, Lance won the slam dunk contest at the NCAA Final Four in 1995 and is Texas Tech’s 8th leading scorer of all time.

After finishing his time on the basketball court, he attended the Texas Tech University Business School, meeting his future wife Nancy and obtaining an MBA In General Business. Using that education as well as the connections he made in athletics he started an online retail business in 2002. It is the dealings with his clients, located in over 50 countries, that is the most rewarding aspect of any business transaction.

Whether it be meeting a new friend on the basketball court, downhill biking trails, ski slopes, or at one of his favorite restaurants, there is nothing Lance enjoys more than "showing off" Aspen.
