"Right away, Marta was super attentive to our needs and our budget. She was always reachable for any of our questions, comments, or concerns (There were a lot – we opted to rent within a co-op so there was a TON of paperwork.). Marta went out of her way to help us through the entire process and because of her, we've found a home that we truly love.
I just want to reiterate that the co-op application process was so, so intensive. (Whatever you just pictured in your head, multiply it by three.) And we cannot thank Marta enough for holding our hands through it. We worked with her for 2+ months and she stuck by us the whole time. We cannot recommend Marta enough!" - Eden
Marta’s family is originally from Puerto Rico, where she still visits frequently. She grew up on Manhattan’s Upper West Side and attended the Bronx High School of Science before leaving to get her BA from Middlebury College. She also received an MBA in Communications from Fordham University. She and her husband restored their brownstone in Boerum Hill fifteen years ago, and have been raising their three boys in the neighborhood. She loves Brooklyn for its diversity and sense of community.
Having served as Vice President of the Department of Education’s Community Education Council for District 15, Marta has an in-depth knowledge of the area schools. She can be spotted on her bike or walking around local neighborhoods with her rescue dog Busky. She also enjoys exploring local restaurants and book stores.
