"We bought our summer home in Ventnor, NJ in 2007 with Matt Vassallo acting as our buyer's agent. During the process, we were impressed by his ethics, professionalism, and the hard work he displayed. We had a very difficult seller and Matt helped us tackle each problem that arose. A week before settlement, the seller asked us to pay for the awning. Of course, we were upset, thinking the awning was included in the sales price as part of the house. When the seller wouldn't relent, Matt stepped forward and paid for the awning. He said, "I sold you a house with an awning; you'll have the awning." Since then, Matt has helped us periodically rent the property and has continued his high level of customer service. He visited my house within hours after Sandy was blown out to sea and reported that we were spared. When we get nervous about frigid temperatures, he stops by to make sure all is fine. Matthew’s leisure time revolves mostly around health and nutrition. In the winter he spends most of his time in the gym. When the weather breaks you’ll find him adding runs on the boardwalk and invigorating early morning swims in the ocean. Matthew is usually relaxed reading a good book on nutrition or cooking experimenting with new recipes and green drinks and nurturing his organic garden. He truly believes in running your own race being careful not to get too caught up in the frenetic lifestyle that accompanies being a successful realtor.
