Melissa is a North Shore native with a keen eye for helping her buyers find their perfect home. Having grown up in Vernon Hills, Melissa ventured to Madison for college (On Wisconsin!) and after graduation, moved back to Chicago. While working at Children's Memorial Hospital's Development Office, Melissa met Alberts + Maletsky co-founder, Stephanie Maletsky. A few years later, Melissa and her husband moved from the city to Deerfield. The process of selling their place in the city and purchasing a home in the suburbs helped Melissa realize she held a deep curiosity and passion for real estate. In 2015, Melissa became the co-founder of a boutique buyer's brokerage on the North Shore. While she loved working with buyers, she wanted to expand her focus to include sellers. In 2019, she joined forces with the Alberts + Maletsky Team. Melissa supports her clients in every step of the transaction process. She takes pride in easing the stress of her clients and building long-lasting connections with them. When not attending open houses and home inspections, Melissa can be found chasing after her two daughters, on her Peloton (follow her at #SpindaMELa), or binge-watching shows at a painfully slow pace.
Melissa Lipschultz demonstrated care and professionalism as she helped us find our new home. She wanted to learn our needs and meet them. She was kind, patient, understanding and tireless in her efforts to help us find just the right place. It was a pleasure to work with Melissa.

So kind and so customer focused! Everybody in our family said we were in good hands with Melissa. She's right on top of things, communicates very well, and goes out of her way to make herself available. A caring, knowledgeable, professional real estate broker - she earned our confidence.

Melissa helped in the purchase of my downtown condo when moving from the burbs to the city. She was a delight to work with and was very helpful.
We had an incredible experience working with Melissa Lipschultz on our home purchase. She worked tirelessly to find us the perfect house. Melissa was always charming and upbeat and did a fabulous job of staying within our budget. She is an active listener which means she didn’t waste our time showing us homes that were not the right fit. I highly recommend Melissa and would not hesitate to be her client should our needs change in the future!

We can’t say enough great things about our experience with Melissa! She had an extensive knowledge of the market as a whole, and specifically our location. Our deal had many moving parts, especially a complicated piece of land. She knew the right questions to ask, and had a great ability to bring people together, especially during challenging negotiations. She kept us focused, organized and helped facilitate a smooth transaction. We couldn’t be happier with our home. Thank you, Melissa!

During our search for a home, Melissa was a great help. Even though we had very limiting parameters in terms of distance, neighborhood, etc, and even when we wanted to revisit a house three times, she dropped everything to help. She was super responsive, knowledgeable, trustworthy and kind. She gave it her all, patiently allowed us the time and space we needed to make our decision without pressure, and took care of every detail to make the whole process and transition as smooth as can be. We would be happy to recommend her to anyone who asks.

We worked with the Alberts + Maletsky team to purchase our home in Skokie and sell our condo in Chicago, specifically through their incredible co-listing agent Melissa Lipschultz. We were able to make this important transition in our lives with relative ease, especially considering we had to sell our condo during the beginning of shelter-in-place orders in March of 2020. Not only did we receive excellent professional advice on pricing and negotiations for both deals without feeling pressured, we felt taken care of during an extremely difficult closing process for our condo sale. We were impressed by the quality of service throughout the entire process, from the guidance on comparable home sales, to the recommendations given to us for home inspection, repair vendors, and legal counsel. You could not pick a more thoughtful, dedicated, or kind team to work with when it comes to buying and selling property.
