Merele Williams-Adkins

Merele loves Brooklyn, old Brooklyn, new Brooklyn and truly all things Brooklyn. She is fortunate to have discovered its beauty over 20+ years ago when she moved to Clinton Hill with her young family. While the neighborhood has changed, the Notorious B.I.G no longer lives on St. James Place and Dave Chappelle hasn't filmed another documentary film on Quincy Street since the first one, it's still Brooklyn and it's your time to be a part of it.

While living in this incredibly diverse and beautiful community, Merele has not only renovated two homes but her current residence has been featured in countless films, including "The Intern", television shows, commercials, print advertisements and has been in numerous books and articles about Brooklyn and its design aesthetic. "Brooklyn Interiors" by Kathleen Hackett is just one of them. This has enabled Merele, not only appreciate Brooklyn even more, but has allowed her to envision and see, potential, value, and vision behind every home, which in her opinion, should be a reflection of the client. 

Merele‘s other passion along with selling some of the most stunning brownstones, coops and condominiums is loving and living ART. You will easily find her reveling in the artwork at the Brooklyn Museum, MOMA, the Whitney, the Met, PS1, studios of young and exuberant artists at Pratt and Columbia, as well as going to every show possible at galleries in Chelsea, Tribeca, Red Hook, Gowanus, Industry City, Ditmas Park, Bed-Stuy, Bushwick and almost every other neighbor in Brooklyn and/or Manhattan. Having had an artist as a husband, he influenced her life exponentially. In fact, Merele has sold many artists, writers and musicians their homes.

All of this to say, is that Merele has a keen understanding of the needs and wants of sellers, buyers and renters and has a genuine desire to make people/clients happy. She also brings a valuable market knowledge to every transaction, having been on both the buyer and seller side and as a happily "retired" attorney.
