Andrea Goldman, a third-generation South Floridian, has devoted her career to the service of others, with Compass the fortunate recipient of her talents. Prior to moving over to the real estate industry, Andrea worked as a mental health counselor, honing her communication and interpersonal skills. She holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Florida and a master’s degree in mental health counseling. Those years of training translate well in her current profession, enabling Andrea to genuinely connect with clients, appreciating their individual motivations and circumstances. Andrea knows that buying or selling home is a pivotal and oftentimes emotional moment in any person’s life. She feels privileged to have earned her clients’ trust, and the responsibility to help guide and support them through such a major life transition.
Additionally, Andrea’s own personal journey has deeply informed her zest for life. Diagnosed at a young age with cystic fibrosis, Andrea endured a life-saving double lung transplant, subsequently battled and survived lymphoma, and actively lives with diabetes. She has long been involved with the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and community as a keynote speaker, blogger, peer counselor, and fundraiser. Andrea’s extraordinary story of second chances has imbued in her considerable gratitude and passion for the life she currently leads.
Andrea now lives in her hometown of Boca Raton after stints in Miami and Fort Lauderdale. That lifelong, insider perspective makes Andrea a key ally in your search for the right property or the right buyer, with decades of knowledge about the regional market. Andrea focuses her work primarily within Boca Raton, finding it an equally amazing place to live with her husband and raise their young son as it was during her early years. With terrific schools, proximity to the beach and parks, great local dining, and plenty of activities of all kinds, Boca Raton is a desirable option for those who love the South Florida lifestyle with a relaxed, family-friendly pace. Outside of work, in addition to spending time with her family, Andrea’s diverse interests include speaking engagements, yoga, dance, the beach, travel, dining, and football.
