"We absolutely LOVED working with Michaela! She was so patient and supportive as we learned more about the market (and shifted what we wanted 3 times). She never pressured us to make an offer on something we didn't love, and when we were ready to make an offer she guided us on all the ins/outs to make sure our offer was competitive and got accepted (which it did!). We went on a 10 day vacation the day after our offer was accepted and Michaela coordinated the inspection and attended it, as well as contractors to come to the house and give estimates on work needing to be done. She coordinated all the various parties involved in closing and was so calm and collected throughout. Michaela took amazing care of us and we would recommend her to anyone looking for their home, but especially first time buyers!"

About Michaela

The same passion and drive that helped Michaela compete in multiple triathlons, helps her real estate clients achieve their goals each and every day – something engrained in Michaela during her time at a top Chicago luxury real estate team. Michaela’s passion to succeed is only matched by her desire to help people – exemplified by her time at Trunk Club, a Chicago-based fashion brand. Michaela quickly climbed to the top 10% of stylists, driven by her desire to help people look and feel their best. For Michaela, people don’t remember what you say, but how you make them feel.

Originally from New Jersey, and having also lived in Boulder and Austin, Michaela saw first hand how much a person’s environment can impact their quality of life. Michaela ultimately settled in Chicago because in her heart she was born a Midwestener, and Edgebrook is the perfect combination of open natural spaces with close proximity to downtown.

She also recently completed a full gut rehab of her Edgebrook home, obtaining the equivalent of a “master’s degree in home purchase and remodel.” Now she uses her experience to help clients make educated real estate decisions, including a strong knowledge of construction quality, age and resale value.

Michaela considers herself a matchmaker for her clients, not only to their dream home, but to endless possibilities. Helping each of her clients envision and then achieve goals means advocacy, organization, and a creative mind to see the true potential.

When she is not working, Michaela loves to spend time in the kitchen creating new recipes. Always taking things to the next level, Michaela recently released a digital cookbook of her favorite recipes, along with tried and true favorites from friends and family.
