A proud member of the Kamal Fowlkes team she works with her teammate Saadiah Fowlkes at Compass, Mona delivers total transparency to the business of buying and selling real estate. She's a true people person, a great listener, and she lends a keen eye for design and a sense of adventure to everything she does. Raised in Calgary, with roots from Pakistan, Mona has an international worldview that enables her to relate to clients from all walks of life. She earned her BFA from the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design and her MFA from Parsons School of Design. Prior to real estate, Mona taught art and design as an adjunct professor at BMCC and Parsons, and art continues to be integral to her being. She has a studio in Bushwick and regularly exhibits her work both nationally and internationally.
Mona resides in Bedford-Stuyvesant where she begins each day with Ashtanga yoga practice and her bicycle is her preferred mode of transportation 365 days a year.
