"My sister and I were co-executors of our father’s estate and had to sell his coop apartment in New York during the height of Covid. Nina guided us with persistence and ingenuity through a difficult process. She organized a clearing out and renovation during Covid with elevators out of service, getting workers Covid – checked and approved, and finding honest and knowledgeable contractors and companies to evaluate and auction off artworks and other valuables. These were only a few of the services she provided. We learned most of all how difficult it is to coordinate everything, staging the apartment herself, which quickly led to a sale. She accomplished the seemingly impossible, winning people over with her calm and warm personality. She is a truly extraordinary real estate agent and we are forever grateful to her. We could not have done this without her." - Brook Stone & Barbara MacAdam.
"Nina and her husband Allen Rothman performed above and beyond the call of duty in representing us in the sale of a Manhattan co-op. We were living 800 miles away and never had to lift a finger. She took care of cleaning out the unit, using both a donation company and a carting service, lining up and supervising numerous repairs, staging and even replacing some fixtures. She was constantly in touch with us, and sold the unit within the first week. We highly recommend them!" - Randye K.
"One of the reasons we chose Nina and Allen was because our aunt's Manhattan apartment was an Estate sale and they offered so many additional services that we needed and did not find with other realtors. I live out of state and my sister works full time which made it difficult to be in the city, Having all these additional services helped make this sale so much easier and stress-free for the two of us. It was great working with the Rothmans and we would highly recommend them to anyone looking to sell their property." - Nancy O., Tennessee; Kathy T., Long Island, NY
"Nina and Allen were extremely professional and went above and beyond what I would have expected in many instances, while working on the sale of my late uncle's Manhattan apartment. Nina even cleaned a bath tub herself which had been used as a storage area! They were instrumental in maintaining buyer interest during very difficult board negotiations, especially when the buyer's attorney suggested that the buyer walk away from the deal. We would not have been able to sell the apartment without their determination and persistence.” - Neil and Betty H., Plainview, NY
“Recently, my husband as Executor of an estate was required to sell an upper west side apartment. Since we live outside of the city, logistics were not easy. He was introduced to Nina and Allen through a mutual friend. Suffice to say, the entire experience from his first meeting to the recent closing went smooth and hassle-free. Not only was a buyer found promptly, Nina and Allen worked tirelessly to make the apartment as presentable as possible. With approval, a painter and handyman were brought in, unwanted items were donated or disposed of and Nina and Allen "spruced up” the apartment to make it look very desirable. We were kept in the loop every step of the way. The sale price went above asking and closed without a hitch. Nina and Allen handled everything from “soup to nuts" and were a pleasure to work with. If you have real estate to sell, give them a ring!” - Cindy R, Woodbury, NY
"My decision to engage Nina and Allen Rothman to sell my client's estate apartment was the best decision I could have made. They took care of everything, from cleaning and repairs to staging to removing items in the apartment before closing. They did everything they said they would do and more. I look forward to using them again to sell any future estate properties; they are consummate professionals." - Dana H., Esq., Patterson Belknap Webb & Tyler, LLC, NYC
“I never met real estate brokers who offered to do so many things before the apartment was even listed. They participated in everything I needed to do, took care of anything and everything I asked for. I live in Westchester, so knowing that I didn't have to keep running into the city was a huge benefit for me. They even returned the cable box to the Time Warner store before we closed! Nina and Allen did all of this time consuming work and did not charge anything extra.” - Marcia B., Westchester
"Nina Horowitz-Rothman and Allen Rothman are superb. They provided excellent guidance on the pricing and sales strategy of my mother-in-law's Manhattan apartment and were creative and proactive in addressing issues. They never wasted our time with unlikely prospects; found great buyers for our apartment at the price we were seeking, and saw to it that everything went smoothly right through to the closing, which went flawlessly. We could not have had a better experience from start to finish." - Bruce B., Westchester County
"Nina and Allen were engaged at the worst possible moment, January of 2020, just as the COVID-19 pandemic was getting underway, to market our three bedroom/three bath apartment. Nina and Allen helped us set a realistic listing price, and Nina then did an extraordinary job both of staging the apartment so that it looked spectacular and persuading the building into promptly doing the small repairs necessary to maximize marketability. Nina and Allen helped to secure several very good offers and then to choose the buyer with the best prospect of passing board review (which of course he did). Although it took three months to get from contract to closing due to State/City/building COVID-19 regulations and rules, and several issues raised by the buyer, Nina and Allen were a steadying factor throughout, and we eventually secured almost 95% of the listing price. I can’t imagine anyone handling this transaction better."
"After my mother passed away, the apartment she’d lived in for 25 years had to be sold. I met with a few brokers, but felt Nina was the person to sell it. With a keen eye for what needed to be done to prevent an old apartment from having that “estate” look, she also had a true gift for staging, ultimately making the apartment highly appealing to today’s buyer. We got an offer before the unit was even officially on the market, had a signed contract shortly after, and eventually sold at just a touch below asking price—despite still being in the pandemic. Choosing Nina was the best thing I could’ve done.." - Randy M.
