Double B.A. in Architecture and Urban Studies and a Masters in Urban and Regional Planning from the University of Minnesota
Originally from Northern Minnesota and of Greek descent, Andrew Jennings Freerks attended the University of Minnesota, where he attained a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture and Urban Studies and later a Master’s in Urban Planning. During his college career, he completed a ten year stint as a sergeant in the United States Army Reserve and was deployed to Northern Iraq from August 2005 - October 2006.
Upon returning from overseas, he began working for real estate development support firms and locally worked as a real estate development consultant to the Bronx Borough President's Office. During his adventurous life he has lived in Hong Kong, the Middle East, Chicago and now resides in the Astoria neighborhood of Queens.
