Born and raised in Greenwich Village, and a homeowner on Lower Fifth Avenue, Charles possesses extensive knowledge and insight on the downtown market where he specializes. He also has a deep understanding of all distinctive Manhattan neighborhoods honed over more than 10 years in the real estate business.
Charles began his successful real estate career as a leasing director for a property manager, then went on to serve as managing director of a boutique real estate firm in the coveted Gold Coast section of Manhattan. He spent seven years at another of the city’s premier brokerage firms before joining the thriving and exciting world of Compass.
His background in interior design affords Charles a strong edge as a full-service agent with a talent for optimizing the appearance of any space. He consults with sellers to enhance their home’s presentation through staging, reorganizing or improvements, getting each of his listings picture-perfect ready to market and sell. This aesthetic sensibility is equally beneficial for helping buyers envision what could be transformed into their future home.
From charming historic residences to sleek new luxury developments, Charles is passionate about all NYC real estate and fully committed to his clients’ needs. A graduate of Syracuse University, he holds a BFA degree in Visual and Performing Arts, and is active in the South Village Historic Preservation Project sponsored by the Greenwich Village Society for Historic Preservation. Charles enjoys spending free time in Washington Square Park with his partner and their young son.
