Curtis Woodside

With more than 25 years' experience, Curtis Woodside excels in all aspects of commercial real estate, representing hundreds of tenants and landlords in commercial leasing and sales transactions.

Specializing in both retail and office leasing, Curtis approaches every transaction with both a strategic and creative point of view, and he has represented virtually every line of business, including restaurants, retailers, institutions, nonprofits and so on. He is also a go-to expert for clients requiring assistance renting or purchasing warehouse, fulfillment center and industrial spaces.

Before joining Compass, Curtis was a director with the Abrams Retail Strategies Group at Eastern Consolidated. Earlier in his career, he operated and managed 10 restaurants. Curtis received his bachelor’s degree in cello performance and a master's degree in historical performance practice on viola da gamba from The Mannes College of Music/New School. He was, for many years, a principal cellist, a chamber music performer and a teacher working and performing around the world. Curtis speaks Italian and Japanese, and he works with a broad range of international clients.

Curtis is a member of REBNY and is on the REBNY Brooklyn Retail Committee.
