Vassar College | AB in History and Political Science
The essence of any deal is what I, as the broker, bring to the table. I feel that my extensive business background gives me a certain edge, as well as the skill set I obtained during my MBA graduate training. All that, plus patience and a sense of humor!
I was born and bred in New York City and attended local schools until I went off to Vassar College, where I obtained an AB in history and political science. A few years later, I graduated from Columbia University Graduate School of Business with an MBA degree. For at least a decade, I worked in marketing with several major advertising agencies and rose to vice president, account supervisor specializing in consumer non-durable products for several Fortune 500 companies.
Real estate in Manhattan became a consuming passion. I soon switched from passive to active interest when I became a mother, because it is a profession that allows for flexibility in scheduling. Many changes have occurred during my 25-plus years in the business, but the passion is still there. I am married with one daughter, and my husband and I fully participate in the cultural life of the city: going to museums, theater, opera and other wonderful events. We have also traveled to many parts of this exciting world, thus broadening our understanding of diverse cultures.
