About Peter
Peter is a native New Yorker with extensive knowledge of real estate, investments, and entrepreneurship.

He has professionally served clients- buyers, sellers, landlords, and renters- in diverse residential property transactions ranging from co-op studios on the Upper East Side to 2-bedroom condos in Tribeca and the Upper West Side to a five-story limestone mansion off Fifth Avenue.

Peter brings to Compass a strong understanding of the business and legal elements of real estate deals from investing in multifamily apartment complexes as an analyst/principal for a private equity firm. His other professional experiences range from serving as portfolio manager for a billion plus dollar Morgan Stanley Investment Management fund to founder of a “healthier” ice cream startup.

Peter grew up on the Upper East Side and in Riverdale and spent most of his life in the City. He graduated from Riverdale Country School, earned a BA in Economics from Cornell University, and obtained an MBA in Finance from NYU’s Stern School of Business. Peter resides with his wife and ten-year-old daughter in a prewar cooperative on the Upper West Side near Central Park.

Peter's Approach

"I am knowledgeable about real estate, a great problem solver, strong communicator, and skilled negotiator. I will listen carefully to your goals, focus on what truly matters, and guide you through the transaction process. Leveraging a great team of colleagues at Compass and a personal network of outside professionals (attorneys, bankers, etc.), I will work tirelessly on your behalf to ensure your deal “crosses the finish line.” And I hope to make you laugh in the process."

"When you buy, sell, or rent in NYC, the stakes are high. To achieve your goals, you’ll need a trusted advisor to analyze, market, and negotiate on your behalf. Let’s be partners."
