Shep joined Compass after 10 years at Sotheby’s. Working with some of the top brokers in the city, he gained invaluable insight in terms of business styles, range of clients, and the nuances associated with complex deals. Shep went independently armed with knowledge and attention to detail in handling all aspects of NYC residential transactions on both the buy and sell side. He is intimately familiar with selling the full range of properties including townhouses, cooperatives, downtown lofts and new development. Raised in New England, with most of his childhood in Providence, RI, Shep went to prep-school in Western Mass and graduated from Trinity College in Hartford, CT with a B.A. in Political Science and a Spanish minor. Fluent in Spanish, Shep lived abroad in Spain and the Dominican Republic, and travels extensively.
