Born and raised on the Upper West Side, where he still resides with his wife and real estate partner Beth Lowy, Tom graduated from Stuyvesant High School and then went on to graduate from Syracuse University and then received a law degree from St. Johns University. After working as a lawyer, he joined his family's manufacturing business, and over the next 25 years built the most successful modern lighting company in the country: Koch + Lowy. After selling the business he joined Beth at the Corcoran group.
Together they've built an extensive network and referral base, and have earned an outstanding reputation for sales success. They are particularly well known for their sales achievements in such upscale residences as the El Dorado - where Tom served as a board member and 101 Central Park West, both buildings where the couple also resided.
Today Tom and Beth live in a beautiful brownstone triplex on the Upper West Side, a lifestyle they enjoy very much. Besides their work, they enjoy spending time with their family. Their son Jon and his wife Rachel live and work in New York, and they are the parents of Harry and Katie. Their son David is married to Liz and they are the parents of Alex, Nathan and Daniel.They all live and work in Manhattan. The family gets together at their vacation home on Nantucket as well as in New York City where all three families live within walking distance of each other.
